So much to do this weekend!
Egg Harbor’s Pumpkin Patch Festival kicks off in Door County this Saturday.
Events on Saturday include an arts & crafts show, a silent auction, a best putt contest, face painting, a roaming magician, storytelling with Carol Johnson, and the Mango Brothers with a Jimmy Buffet tribute.
On Sunday the Big Mouth Quartet plays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Randy Peterson will entertain kids with music from 11:oo a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Carol Johnson will tell stories, and the Big Mouth Quartet and the Power Tool Horns will play through the afternoon.
Enjoy the pumpkin displays, great food and other activities all through the town. See the link below to view detailed information on Pumpkin Patch.
One other activity you should take part in while you are in Door County is the corn maze at Dairy View Farm. If you’ve never taken a walk through the corn maze you are really missing something unique. The Schopf family designs the maze over the span of 30 acres on the farm, this being the 9th year. The maze always has a theme, this year it depicts a race. Along the maze there are 18 punch card stations and 6 more puzzle stations to find in the maze. If you solve the Maze Sudoku you can win a Wii, and at the end of the season an iPod will be raffled off. The whole thing takes only about two hours–I guarantee it will be one of the most memorable times you spend with your friends or family this year. See the link below for a view of the maze and more information.
